INTER SCHOOL SPORTS COMPETITION

On 8^th July 2019, Spartan Matriculation Hr. Sec. School conducted 23^rd Spartan Sports Festival. 19 students of our School participated in Football and Throw Ball tournament and received participation certificates.

Vedanta Academy conducted 3^rd Neela Kesava Rolling Trophy 2019 for Throw Ball and Foot Ball. 20 students of our School participated.

On 15^th July 2019, DAV Senior Secondary School conducted XIII – Smt.Praba Jaidev Memorial Football Tournament 2019 for Boys. 16 students of our school participated.

Sethu Bhaskara Matric. Hr. Sec. School conducted Sethu Bhaskara Trophy for Volley Ball, Throw Ball and Basket Ball. 36 students of our School participated.

Badminton Competition

Inter School Badminton Tournament for Boys and Girls was conducted at Sathish Sivalingam Badminton Indoor Stadium on 9^th August 2019. Merlin Jose .J, Cl. VI was the Semi finalist. She received a Cup and Certificate. Kishan .S, Cl. VI was the quarter finalist. He received a Medal and a Certificate.

Chess Tournament

Chess Tournament for Boys and Girls was conducted at DAV Matric. Hr. Sec. School on 4^th August 2019. Three of our School students participated and the position is as under:-

Table Tennis Competition

Kalpatharu Inter School Table Tennis Tournament was conducted by Padma Sarangapani School on 1^st and 2^nd November 2019 for classes V to XII. Six students of our School participated. Kannan .T of class VII and Agnes Chelshiya .N of class VIII received a cup and a certificate.

Badminton Tournament

From 5^th to 7^th November 2019, DAV Senior Secondary School conducted Inter School Badminton Tournament for Boys and Girls for classes VI to XII. Six students of our School participated. Nivedha .S, Kanishka .S of class X and Merlin Jose .J of class VI secured Second place and received an individual Cup, a Certificate and a Trophy.

Intra School Chess Tournament

Intra School Chess Tournament was conducted for the first time under the guidance of our esteemed Correspondent to promote the Game. The tournament was conducted under various categories. Totally 60 students actively participated. The winners and runner up, under each category were awarded a trophy and a merit certificate.
